Wow. What a start to the college football season. You had the Clemson program pretty much get ended by our guy Joey Freshwater, aka The Lane Train. Michigan should have died and got saved by an imaginary clock. And them Dawgs are gonna be absolute hell this year.
But it’s time to get into the picks from last week.
3-2 is a respectable start, and we made some money this weekend.
My first thought on the picks is that my UNLV Dan Mullen overs machine is officially dead. Hawai’i’s defense is dog shit, and Jackson Arnold did nothing. He is a running back pretending to be a quarterback, so that means Dan Mullen Air Raid is gone, and the clock gets shorter in these games, making UNLV overs pretty much DOA.
Which is sad because last year it was the closest thing we had to the Pac-12 After Dark days. We may have a new team to replace them in the system, so we will monitor and update.
Now to that asshole Curt Cignetti.
COVER THE GAME, CURT.
Watching that game hurt. So many chances to cover, and the Indiana defense kept letting us down. One of my buddies called it perfectly at halftime of that game: We would get within a score of covering by the end of the game, only to be the bride left at the altar.
Now to the good stuff.
That Georgia Tech/Colorado under was easier than finding candy wrappers under the fat kid’s pillow (I’m fat, I can say this). Colorado’s offense is bad like we thought, and Tech ran the ball like we thought they would, but they weren’t good at doing it.
I can’t believe how much Colorado bullied the hell out of Georgia Tech at the lines of scrimmage. Tech is going to stink this year, and I love it.
LSU was such an easy hit. That team is very good, and Clemson is ass. Dabo needs to go coach at Liberty, a school that has the same morals (LOL) as Dabo and isn’t concerned with nattys.
And finally, our UCLA/Cal game over was going to happen, and it did. Both QBs are going to be in the NFL and have great arms. I love JKS and want to ride him all year, but he doesn’t have the weapons to be trustworthy for the whole year.
Nico looks like the Nico that was promised, and I think he is going to upset one of these Big Ten teams with national title hopes this year.
NOW LET’S MAKE SOME PICKS.
Saturday, September 12th
All picks are for entertainment and informational purposes only.

Oregon at Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State (+22.5), O/U 57.5 — Kickoff 12:00 PM ESPN
Boone Pickens Stadium — Stillwater, OK
You may look at this and go, “Hunter, Oregon struggled with Boise State. Are you sure you want to take Oregon this week?”
Hell yes, I do.
Oklahoma State is bad and lost to Tulsa by 14 last week (it should have been worse). Boise is a good team and got Oregon to wake up.
Give me Dan and the boys to skull-fuck the Cowboys like what would happen to your character in Oregon Trail.
The Pick: Oregon -22.5
Oklahoma at Michigan
Michigan (+5.5), O/U 43.5 — Kickoff 12:00 PM FOX
Michigan Stadium — Ann Arbor, MI
Oh buddy, it is a true miracle that Michigan is not 0-1. Also, holy cow, how bad was that storming of the field?
Oklahoma looked great, and I am a believer in John Mateer. I think Oklahoma should be a double-digit favorite in this game, and that’s why we find value in the 5.5 spread.
Brent Venables is going to eat Bryce Underwood alive, and Michigan is gonna struggle like hell in this game.
Give me the Sooners, and I don’t think it’s close.
The Pick: Oklahoma -5.5
Mississippi State at Minnesota
Minnesota (+1.5), O/U 55.5 — Kickoff 3:30 PM CBS
Huntington Bank Stadium — Minneapolis, MN
This play is simple. I believe in Kamario Taylor and think this is a game he takes over.
Going on the road will not be easy and is a bit of a worry here. Butttttttttt, we are getting 1.5, so basically we just need to win the game.
Take the moneyline here or buy the half point if you can if it makes you feel more comfortable. But we ride with the knockoff Bulldogs here.
The Pick: Mississippi State -1.5
Tennessee at Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech (+12.5), O/U 55.5 — Kickoff 7:00 PM ESPN
Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field — Atlanta, GA
Wow, can you believe Tech is back on my board this week?
If you read my early thoughts, you probably saw this coming.
Tennessee is going to the vaunted Bobby Dodd (fart noise) and is going to lay the hammer.
If Colorado played bully ball with Tech, what is Tennessee going to do? They are going to break their will and kick their ass.
Personally, I hate both of these teams and wish nothing but ill will upon both of them and their fans (sorry, 85% of my extended family).
Tennessee thinks they have their next Hendon Hooker after one game, which is the most Vawl thing of all time. And hell, maybe they do.
But this play is because Tech sucks. Like, they really suck.
It feels like ’98 (not really, but Tenn fans will tell you this)!
The Pick: Vawls -12.5
Arkansas at Utah
Utah (-12.5), O/U 54.5 — Kickoff 10:15 PM ESPN
Rice-Eccles Stadium — Salt Lake City, UT
As all good gamblers do, we take a late-night Saturday game.
Utah is a hard-ass place to play. Then add in a night game on top of that. It is quite the mountain for the Razorbacks to climb.
Arkansas struggled with North Alabama and has been complaining about playing this game and then having to play an early game next week against them Georgia Bulldogs (they hell).
This is just a tough spot for Arkansas, and I like that we are getting below 14 points.
Sorry, Razorbacks. It’s about to be a bad couple of weeks, but at least hunting season is almost here!!!
The Pick: Utah -12.5
THE FUN CARD
