6-4. WE ARE 6-4.
WE ARE MAKING MONEEEEEEYYYYYY. 💰
Our noon slate started rough, but damn, was the rest of the day a lot of fun. Saturday was such a fun day of football. Now that the first couple of weeks are behind us, it is time for some fucking fun.
Conference play is ramping up. The pretenders and contenders are starting to show their faces.
And them Dawgs are HELL.
The Good
Was I right or was I RIGHT about Kamario Taylor and Mississippi State?
That is a fun football team to watch. Kamario is a fucking BALLLLLLLER, and that offense is fun as hell. They are going to beat a top SEC team this year. I can feel it.
That Tennessee game got a little sweaty for a minute, but in the end, who gives a shit? A cover is a cover is a cover.
Tech is stinky on the lines of scrimmage and is going to get bullied this year. So we will be seeing them pop up on this list from time to time.
Utah also beat the absolute hell out of Arkansas. Thankful Utah put them away early so we could get some sleep and not have to stay up all night for that one.
The BAD
Fuck Dan Lanning.
Fuck Brent Venables.
They are frauds, and I will not trust them again this season.
Enough said.
Now let’s make some MONEYYYYYYYY.
Friday Night
All picks are for entertainment and informational purposes only.
All game lines come from DraftKings (Sponsor this Blog please) https://www.draftkings.com/
Miami at Wake Forest
Wake Forest (+20.5), O/U 55.5 | Kickoff 7:30 PM ESPN
Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium, Winston-Salem, NC
Miami is fucking rolling and running up the score on these inferior ACC teams. 20.5 is a shocking number on this.
It may even be a trap, but we are going to trust our eyes here.
Gio Lopez has been in college forever and doesn’t beat good teams. Mensah and Toney are going to add to their Heisman campaigns and put up some NUMBIES.
The Canes may be an auto-play this year.
This will be a big test to make sure they are locked in and aren’t the Miami of old.
The Pick: Miami -20.5
Saturday
Florida State at Alabama
Alabama (-19.5), O/U 49.5 | Kickoff 3:30 PM ABC
Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, AL
FSU is stinky and should have lost by a lot more to SMU, but they had incredible turnover luck.
Bama at home always plays better, especially with this young QB. Now add in the revenge factor from last year, and I think DeBoer goes pedal to the metal and runs this thing up.
The under is under consideration here because I don’t think FSU can score.
The worry with locking up the under is FSU’s offense letting the Bama defense score.
If the total goes up into the 52-54 range, I would heavily consider adding it.
The Pick: Bama -19.5
Mississippi State at South Carolina
South Carolina (-4), O/U 59.5 | Kickoff 4:15 PM SEC Network
Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, SC
This game is going to be awesome.
Two fun QBs and a lotta weapons on both offenses.
Kamario Taylor and this high-flying offense may be my ride-or-die team this year. Every gambler has one every year.
I know the road numbers in the SEC are usually bad, but the focus and intensity that Mississippi State played with at Minnesota last week has me believing.
I also think Shane Beamer is an absolute goofball, and I can’t bet on his side.
Not in this one.
The Pick: Mississippi State +4
Edit: WE RIDE WITH BRANDON FUCKING WALKER – Bel
Western Kentucky at Indiana
Indiana (-44.5), O/U 60.5 | Kickoff 4:00 PM Peacock
Memorial Stadium, Bloomington, IN
After we saw what Georgia did to Western Kentucky, our guy Cig is going to want to prove a point too.
I know we went down this well in Week 1 and came up short, but we put the losses behind us and look forward.
I like this total only being at 44.5. If it was higher, we may shy away.
Indiana is still fine-tuning the offense with a new QB, so they will keep stretching the field and trying to put up points.
If Cig wants to make a statement, this is the perfect opportunity.
The Pick: Indiana -44.5
THE GAME
LSU at Ole Miss
Ole Miss (+3), O/U 58.5 | Kickoff 7:30 PM ABC
Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, Oxford, MS
Well, folks…
This is the game we have had circled all offseason.
Our guy Joey Freshwater.
AKA The Lane Train.
AKA Lane Kiffin.
Returns to Oxford.
They are bringing in every cop within a 100-mile radius for this one. Hell, maybe even the National Guard.
There is a whole lot of hate wrapped up in this game, and it’s going to be POINTS GALORE.
I’ve been wrestling back and forth with this game all week.
Lane wants to win by a million and rub Ole Miss’s face in it.
Ole Miss just wants to win and doesn’t care how they do it.
Both coaches know each other extremely well and have been game-planning for this game since January.
So we’re going for a 2-for-1 special because this game deserves it.
Buckle up.
Get your popcorn out.
Enjoy the damn show Saturday night.

- Georgia 1st Half -14.5
- Tenn -35.5
